Mayli
ER Visit
Monday, March 23rd, 2009I must admit that yesterday was not the most fun we’ve ever had. We went to the gym and after I ran/walked my 13 miles, I went to the gym’s daycare center. As I stood up quickly, I got that oh-so-incredibly wonderful sensation that one gets from having low blood pressure. I [...]
First Day of School
Tuesday, August 5th, 2008Today was Mayli’s first day of preschool. She really seemed to like it. She definitely didn’t want to leave the school and once she found out that she isn’t coming back for two days, she was really upset. Once we got into the car, she went on and on about how she [...]
The Princesses
Wednesday, July 30th, 2008Mayli decided that she wanted to play dress-up today. Imagine that! She also took the time to dress Mati as a Princess.
A Broken Heart

A few seconds later, she kicks off her shoe and says, “Oh, my shoe.” It was so funny….and so cute that she was trying to act out the story.
Today, [...]
Asleep Again!
Monday, June 9th, 2008Yes, both kids are asleep again, and of course, that only happens when they are not feeling well. Mati’s eye infection is back and it’s as if she’s being skinned alive when I attempt to put the eyedrops into her eyes. Fun, Fun. She also is being very clingy. And when [...]
The Genius
Thursday, June 5th, 2008Yesterday I noticed some pencil markings on Mati’s door. I asked Mayli who did it. Apparently Cricket, our cat, has figured out how to use a pencil and move furniture so he can reach the height required for this particular piece of art. Hmmmm.
We’ve never had a problem with Mayli [...]
